Tarannon Falastur

Tarannon Falastur is a fictional character in J. R. R. Tolkiens universe of Middle-earth, the twelfth King of Gondor

He succeeded his father Siriondil in T.A. 830.

Under his reign the expansion of Gondor started, for he started the construction of Gondor's navies. He was therefore the first of the Ship-kings.

His reign was troubled by the intrigues of his queen, Béruthiel[?] who spied on everyone within the kingdom. When she went too far he sent her into exile.

He died because of this childless in T.A. 913 and was succeeded by his nephew Eärnil I
