Tanichthys is a genus of minnows (family Cyprinidae) formerly thought to consist of only Tanichthys albonubes, the "White Cloud mountain minnow", a popular aquarium fish, but in 2001 Tanichthys micagemmae was reported from the Ben Hai River[?] in Vietnam.
