Tamara Jernigan

Tamara Jernigan (born May 7, 1959, in Tennessee) is a female astronaut, who flew in five space shuttle missions (three with Columbia and one each with Endeavour and Discovery). In her last mission on the Discovery in 1999, she performed an extra-vehicular activity for about 8 hours.
