Talk:John Kevin McAvoy

I went to grammar school with John at St.Adalbert's in Staten Island, NY. I may not have known him very well back then but as an adult I realize that we all know each in the spiritual sense. It saddened me to hear he had passed away. I have a brother-in-law, a future brother-in-law and two cousins who are all firefighters in NYC and who were all off that day. I thank God for that but I also grieve for the McAvoy family who lost a son and possibly a brother and a husband and a father. My thoughts and prayers have been with all of you this past year.
