Very interesting! But this isn't an encyclopedia article about Jefferson's views on deism; it's a list of quotations. Could it be worked into an article? For reference, see what Wikipedia is not. --Larry Sanger

In fact, it probably should be worked into the article. I had some raw material that I thought I could add; over time this can smoothed into a reasonable synopsis of Jefferson's ideas (which are imporant because he wrote much on what so many other founding fathers only briefly discussed.) - RK
