Iz take smo snovi kot sanje (We are made from the matter as dreams are).
??? That title sounds remarkably like Shakespeare translated into another language and back into english:
We are such stuff as dreams are made on; and our little life is rounded with a sleep.
-- The Tempest Act 4, Scene 1
- Yes, indeed. I guess prof. Strnad meant Shakespeare himself. I wrote the title from my memory and I should check this. It is nice someone had noticed this. And further more I would like to thank you Malcolm for correcting my silly mistakes. I should refresh my knowledge of the English irregular verbs very soon. Best regard. -- XJamRastafire 05:11 Jul 25, 2002 (PDT) (1st ed)
I moved the following paragraph here:
- Let us hear one enthusiastic Linux user about professor Strnad:
- "Ni ravno ideja, kakrsno sem pricakoval. Heh, kot bi
- sel "s topom streljat na vrabce" (c) prof.dr. Janez Strnad"
- ("The idea as I planted is not what I meant to be. Heh, it is
- like "going to shoot sparrows with a cannon" (c) prof.dr. Janez Strnad")
- Mkx (http://www.lugos.si/arhiv/mailinglist/031997/277)
First, I don't see why Linux matters here. Then I don't see what we are currently learning about Mr. Strnad. Is the quote "shooting sparrows with cannons" supposedly by Strnad? He certainly didn't invent that saying. I can't see the relevance at all. AxelBoldt 19:32 Nov 13, 2002 (UTC)
- I do not see any sense moving the above out of the article. This was just one Strnad's imaginary copyrighted quote. For me it is interesting and fun, so ... --XJamRastafire 13:52 Nov 15, 2002 (UTC)
