I just resotred the image after somebody deleted it without explanation. However, now I come to look at it, I see the image is called "Alexander Langmuir" while this page is about "Irving Langmuir" - are they the same person? Maybe the image shouldn't be here after all... --Camembert
It looks like they're not the same person at all - there is a picture of Irving at [1] (http://www.nobel.se/chemistry/laureates/1932/langmuir-bio), and he doesn't look much like Alexander, who is at [2] (http://myhero.com/hero.asp?hero=a_langmuir) - that page also tells us that Alexander did things after Irving was dead ("Langmuir was the CDC's chief epidemiologist from 1949 to 1970" - Irving died 1957). So they're different. This leaves us with an orphan image at :Image:Alexander Langmuir (small).jpg (this means the original deletor was correct - but could you please leave an explanation of deletions either on the talk page or in the edit summary next time) --Camembert
