Describe the new page here. Here are some questions/issues about the Iran/History page.

Iran is an important country, and i'd like to know some more about its history than what is printed here.

In particular, i have heard that it was a moderately liberal democracy until the early 1950s when the Shah was installed by foreigners. Is this true?

If so, it would be interesting to know something about the government, which foreigners did what, etc.

And if this is false, it would still be intersting to know just what happened in those years.

Thanks in advance for anybody who knows something about Iran writing this up. Maybe it's elsewhere in the wikipedia?
