Dan the MAN, gonna miss you

A very beautiful concert was performed by an orchestra on the grounds of Self Realization Fellowship Mother Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb 23. Beth Folsom, violinist gave a stirring tribute to Daniel, who many of us were acquainted with on the Yanni tour. I played violin on that concert. I was on the Yanni tour in '94 and '95 and after hearing from several violinists who knew him, figured that I had seen him too. There were others there who knew him better than I. I would love to see a picture, to remind me who he was. We performed a Yanni piece as well as other Americana selections. A candlelight service was held honoring the victims of the tragedy. Tears swelled up in my eyes as I played. The monks and nuns prayed. It a totally unforgetable beautiful experience. I hope I am able to relay this information to someone close to him.
