Talk:Atkin's diet

The Atkin's diet is a high-fat, high-protein, low-carbohydrate diet developed by Dr. Robert Atkins. Despite the fact it is obviously nonsense it frequently works for dieters probably because the intake of fat supresses the appetite.
The above text, containing the opinion "it is obvious nonsense", should be rewritten and then merged with Atkins Nutritional Approach.
  • Is it really a high-fat diet?
  • Who says it's nonsense (I'm not arguing)?
  • How does the intake of fat suppress the diet? (Or, who says it does?)
