Swaffham

Swaffham is a town in Norfolk, England and is named after an Anglo-Saxon tribe named the "Swaefas".

In the 14th and 15th centuries, the town had a flourishing sheep and wool industry.

The Market Cross was built by Horace Walpole, the 4th Earl of Orford[?].
