Susana Gimenez

Susana Gimenez is an Argentinian diva. Gimenez started her career as a Vedette dancer (Vedette was a term that was popular during the 1970s). She turned her success as a Vedette into big screen success, and soon she was starring in many Argentinian productions. During this time, she started dating the world boxing champion, Miguel Fernando[?],in a widely published romance. She left Fernando in 1980.

She also starred in many Argentinian soap operas.

Nowadays, Gimenez is the presenter of a television variety show[?] program that is highly rated by the Argentinian audiences. Similar in format to the shows that Veronica Castro has been doing in Mexico for a few years, her show has about one decade on the air.

Gimenez recently entered the Guinness Book of Records because she gave away more than 5 million dollars in one of her shows, breaking a world record.
