There are 1,017 housing units at an average density of 61.8/km² (160.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 93.55% White, 0.07% African American, 0.65% Native American, 0.26% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 3.84% from other races, and 1.56% from two or more races. 10.29% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 677 households out of which 24.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.1% are married couples living together, 7.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 37.8% are non-families. 32.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
