Subcontinent

A subcontinent is a large part of a continent. (this may not be strictly accurate)

India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are together often said to make up the Indian subcontinent (should that be capitalized?) or just the subcontinent. Occasionally, Europe is described as a subcontinent of Eurasia.
