Stockholm is a town located in Grant County, South Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 105.

Geography Stockholm is located at 45°6'0" North, 96°48'1" West (45.100101, -96.800232)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²). 1.1 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and 2.27% is water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 105 people, 48 households, and 28 families residing in the town. The population density is 92.1/km² (239.3/mi²). There are 57 housing units at an average density of 50.0/km² (129.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.10% White, 0.00% African American, 0.95% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.95% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 48 households out of which 20.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.1% are married couples living together, 2.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 39.6% are non-families. 37.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 29.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.19 and the average family size is 2.90.

In the town the population is spread out with 18.1% under the age of 18, 8.6% from 18 to 24, 24.8% from 25 to 44, 21.9% from 45 to 64, and 26.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 44 years. For every 100 females there are 118.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 104.8 males.
