Steven D. Jacoby

Steven D. "Jake" Jacoby was an American business executive. He died at age 43 in the crash of American Airlines Flight 77 in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack. A resident of Alexandria, Virginia, he served as chief operating officer and executive vice president of Metrocall, a paging and wireless messaging service since 1994 when the company merged with FirstPage USA, where he had been COO, vice president and secretary since 1988. Jacoby was survived by his wife and three children.
