Stenungsund

Stenungsund is a municipality in southwest Sweden, in the county of Västra Götaland. The municipality covers an area of 253.5 km². Of the total population of 20679, 10443 are male, and 10236 are female. The population density of the community is 82 inhabitants per km².

Stenungsund is a center for petrochemical industry.
