Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan was the second Star Trek feature movie. It serves as a sequel to the episode "Space Seed" from the original television series, with Ricardo Montalban reprising his role as the evil genius Khan Noonien Singh. Many fans consider The Wrath of Khan the strongest of all the Star Trek movies.

Credit is given to Montalban's performance, the relaxed ensemble cast of Kirk, Spock, and McCoy, intense dramatic action and a well-paced script as the key reasons for this movie's success.

Plot and some writing owe a debt to Herman Melville's novel Moby-Dick.
