Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 92.6 km² (35.8 mi²). 64.8 km² (25.0 mi²) of it is land and 27.8 km² (10.8 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 30.05% water.
Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 410 people, 168 households, and 117 families residing in the township. The population density is 6.3/km² (16.4/mi²). There are 483 housing units at an average density of 7.5/km² (19.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 99.76% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.24% from two or more races. 0.24% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 168 households out of which 25.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 62.5% are married couples living together, 4.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 29.8% are non-families. 28.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 7.1% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.44 and the average family size is 2.96.
In the township the population is spread out with 24.1% under the age of 18, 5.1% from 18 to 24, 23.7% from 25 to 44, 33.7% from 45 to 64, and 13.4% who are 65 years of age or older.
