St Edmund Hall, Oxford

St. Edmund Hall is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. Its nickname is "Teddy Hall". Its main entrance is located in Queen's Lane.

History

The college is named after St Edmund of Abingdon, and began life as one of the medieval halls of residence which preceded the colleges. However, it did not gain full collegiate status until 1957.
