Spiritwood Lake is a city located in Stutsman County, North Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 72.

Geography Spiritwood Lake is located at 47°4'35" North, 98°34'29" West (47.076276, -98.574683)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.7 km² (1.8 mi²). 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is land and 1.9 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 40.00% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 72 people, 31 households, and 23 families residing in the city. The population density is 25.7/km² (66.5/mi²). There are 63 housing units at an average density of 22.5/km² (58.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 31 households out of which 25.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 74.2% are married couples living together, 3.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 22.6% are non-families. 19.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.32 and the average family size is 2.67.

In the city the population is spread out with 19.4% under the age of 18, 1.4% from 18 to 24, 25.0% from 25 to 44, 37.5% from 45 to 64, and 16.7% who are 65 years of age or older.
