South Bay, Los Angeles

The South Bay is a district of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. It is not a formally defined area, but most people would consider the area that is bordered on the north by Los Angeles International Airport and the 105 freeway, the east by the 110 freeway, and the south and west by the Pacific Ocean to be the South Bay. It is considered to be a nice (read: expensive) place to live, but there are pockets of inexpensive housing.
