Solution point

In mathematics, the solution point is a point which satisfies the requirements of an equation. For example: in 4x + y = 9; (2,1) is a solution point because if x = 2 and y = 1...8 + 1 = 9. Some equations have no solution points; such as, x4 + y2 = −6.
