Skirnir

In Norse mythology, Skirnir is Freyr's messenger and vassal. His name means "the shining one". He it was who assisted in Freyr's courtship of the giantess Gerda, and was given Freyr's sword as a reward. He was also sent to the dwarves to fetch the chain for the wolf Fenrir, Glaepnir.
