Brachypteryx Heinrichia |
The shortwings are colourful medium-sized mostly insectivorous birds in the genera Brachypteryx and Heinrichia of the thrush family Turdidae.
All are southeast Asian species:
- Rusty-bellied Shortwing, Brachypteryx hyperythra
- Gould's Shortwing, Brachypteryx stellata
- White-bellied Shortwing, Brachypteryx major
- Lesser Shortwing, Brachypteryx leucophrys
- White-browed Shortwing, Brachypteryx montana
- Great Shortwing, Heinrichia calligyna
