Adi Shamir

Adi Shamir is a well known cryptographer. He was one of the inventors of the RSA algorithm. The 'S' in RSA stands for Shamir.In recognition of this contribution to cryptography,Adi Shamir was the recipient, along with Professors Rivest and Adleman of the 2002 ACM Turing Award, that is sometimes called the Nobel Prize of computer science.
