Serviceberry

Serviceberries, also known as Juneberries, and shadbush, are a genus of shrubs and small trees belonging to the rose family. In spring, their blossoms are quite showy, and their berries, which ripen from June - September depending on species, are edible. Because of these attributes, many domestic cultivars have been developed. Probably the most common member of the genus is the Saskatoon berry.
