Schermer (population: 4,901) is a municipality in the north-western Netherlands, in the province of North Holland. The municipality covers an area of 64.87 km². The municipality of Schermer consists the following towns, villages and townships: Driehuizen[?], Grootschermer[?], Oterleek[?], Schermerhorn[?], Stompetoren[?], Zuidschermer[?].
