Schelle is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality only comprises the town of Schelle proper. On January 1st, 2000 Schelle had a total population of 7,743 (3,825 males and 3,918 females). The total area is 7.58 km² which gives a population density of 1,021.50 inhabitants per km².
