Samurai, The Legend of Musashi (film)

Samurai, The Legend of Musashi is a film directed by Hiroshi Inagaki[?] and starring Toshiro Mifune as the 17th-century warrior Musashi Miyamoto. The film chronicles roughly the first half of Miyamoto's life, in which he leaves his village to become a warrior in a civil war and later returns. The film won the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in 1955.
