Samantha Runyon

Samantha Runyon (1996-2002) was a resident of Orange County, California, who got kidnapped, sexually abused and killed by a man who lured her into his hands by telling her he was looking for a lost dog of his.

Her body was found one day later, by a couple who was jogging. That same day, police apprehended a suspect.

It can be said, because of the way this case occurred, that Samantha's case reminds parents of small children like Samantha to always keep an eye on their little children. Samantha was taken by her killer from her frontyard.

Samantha, who was about to turn six when she died, was looking forward to a future visit to Disneyland, when the tragedy happened.
