Salvinorin-A

Salvinorin-A is a chemical compound (C₂₃H₂₈O₈), the main active psychotropic constituent of salvia divinorum, or diviner's sage (c.f.). Recent research suggests that this diterpene acts as a kappa opioid receptor agonist.
