Sakura Wars Gouka-Kenran is the second anime OVA series based on the game, "Sakura Wars". The quality of this animation is great.

Plot

The setting is in the first of 1900, in Japan. After the ending of Sakura Wars 2, the leader of the "Teikoku-Kageki-Dan", Ichiro Ogami is made to go to Paris from Tokyo, by the Japanese navy. This animation series tells about his farewell with the member of the "Teikoku-Kageki-Dan". In each story, Ichiro reminises about one member. Every story makes the fan of "Sakura Wars" feel very nostalgic.

Opening: The opening song is one of its highlights. The song "Geki! Teikoku-Kageki-Dan" remains the same but is sung by a different character each time. By watching every episode, you can enjoy the many versions of the song.
