Sabazius

In ancient Phrygian and Thracian mythology, Sabazius was a god whose cult was subsumed in the 5th century BCE, by the Greek Zeus and Dionysus. In Roman mythology, Sabazius was an alternate name for Bacchus, the counterpart of Dionysus.
