SALT I treaty

The SALT I treaty is the shortened name for the Interim Agreement Between The United States of America and The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics on Certain Measures With Respect to the Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms . It was the culmination of SALT I and was signed in Moscow on May 26, 1972 by Richard Nixon and Leonid Brezhnev.
