S.N.P.J., Pennsylvania

S.N.P.J. is a borough located in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. As of 2000, the borough had a total population of 14. The 2000 census accidentally listed the population as 0.

SNPJ[?] stands for Slovenska Narodna Podporna Jednota (Slovene National Benefit Society). Their 500-acre recreation center in western Pennsylvania was designated the S.N.P.J. borough in 1977 so that they could, among other things, get their own liquor license.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.8 km² (0.7 mi²). 1.8 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is land and 20 acres (0.08km², 0.03mi²) of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of 2000, 12 adults and two children reside in this borough.
