Rush (album)

This album, released in 1974, was Rush's debut. Compared to their following albums, RUSH has a more bluesy Zeppelin-ish sound. Songs like "Before And After" and "Here Again" demonstrate this style, while "Working Man" and "What You're Doing" resemble the typical 1970s rock style

Original drummer John Rutsey, unwilling to tour, left the band after this album was released. He was replaced by Neil Peart whose talented lyrical contributions explain the evolution of the band starting with their second album Fly by Night

Songlist:

  1. Finding My Way
  2. Need Some Love
  3. Take A Friend
  4. Here Again
  5. What You're Doing
  6. In The Mood
  7. Before And After
  8. Working Man
