Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 89.5 km² (34.6 mi²). 89.5 km² (34.6 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 388 people, 135 households, and 110 families residing in the township. The population density is 4.3/km² (11.2/mi²). There are 145 housing units at an average density of 1.6/km² (4.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 98.45% White, 0.26% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.26% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.52% from other races, and 0.52% from two or more races. 0.52% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 135 households out of which 35.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.4% are married couples living together, 6.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 18.5% are non-families. 14.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.87 and the average family size is 3.11.
