Robert Lange

Robert "Mutt" Lange is an extremely successful record producer of popular music. He has produced very successful albums for bands such as Def Leppard, AC/DC, Bryan Adams and most recently his wife Shania Twain.

Beginning production work in 1976, his first major hit was AC/DC's album "Highway to Hell". He produced several more albums with the band, also working with 80's pop-rock group Foriegner. In 1983, he work with Def Leppard on their hit "Pyromania" album, cowriting several songs.

In 1991 after a layoff, he produced Bryan Adams' "Waking Up The Neighbours", including "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You", a hugely-successful single (aided by its appearance of the soundtrack of the Kevin Costner film Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves[?]).

Latterly, his most commercially successful work has been with Twain.

Lange is known for his publicity-shyness, having bought the rights to many of the photos taken of him over the years.
