River Huntspill

The River Hunstspill (or Huntspill River) is an aritificial river in the Somerset Levels in the Sedgemoor district of the United Kingdom.

The river was dug during the Second World War to serve ROF Puriton, the Royal Ordnance[?] Factory near Puriton. It drains into Bridgwater Bay, an important National Nature Reserve, on the edge of the Estuary of the River Severn.
