Rich Garces

Rich Garces (born May 18, 1971, Maracay, Venezuela) is a baseball pitcher[?] known as "El Guapo". After spells with the Twins, Cubs and Marlins, he pitched for the Boston Red Sox from 1996 to 2002. He was one of the American League's premier setup men from 1998, before his sudden decline in 2002 (in which he posted an ERA of 7.59).

In 203 games as a relief pitcher, he was 23-10 with 7 saves.

Garces earned one victory with the Red Sox in the 1999 Division Series against the Cleveland Indians.
