RFC 2083 specifies
version 1.0 of the PNG graphics file format.
It is not an official IETF standard,
but it is a World Wide Web Consortium recommendation
described here (http://www.w3.org/Graphics/PNG/).
It is superseded by later versions of the PNG specification.
