Reeder is a city located in Adams County, North Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 181.

Geography Reeder is located at 46°6'25" North, 102°56'33" West (46.107065, -102.942637)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.6 km² (0.6 mi²). 1.6 km² (0.6 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 181 people, 100 households, and 53 families residing in the city. The population density is 114.6/km² (294.4/mi²). There are 130 housing units at an average density of 82.3/km² (211.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 97.79% White, 0.00% African American, 1.10% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.10% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 100 households out of which 9.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% are married couples living together, 3.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 47.0% are non-families. 39.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 24.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.81 and the average family size is 2.38.

In the city the population is spread out with 11.0% under the age of 18, 3.9% from 18 to 24, 14.4% from 25 to 44, 32.0% from 45 to 64, and 38.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 60 years. For every 100 females there are 103.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 96.3 males.

The median income for a household in the city is $22,679, and the median income for a family is $33,333. Males have a median income of $25,208 versus $18,750 for females.
