Red Rocks of Nevada

The Red Rocks of Nevada are a set of large red sandstone peaks and walls about 20 km (12 mi) west of Las Vegas, easily seen from the Las Vegas Strip[?]. The walls are up to 1000 m high, making them a popular hiking and climbing destination.
