Really Simple Syndication

Really Simple Syndication or, more commonly, RSS 0.9x and 2.x (the latter is an attempt to stablize the standard), is a syndication protocol used primarily by news sites and web logs.

RSS is essentially a web service used for syndicating articles on web sites and blogs in a "latest news" manner.
