Ray Davies

Raymond Douglas Davies (born June 21, 1944) is the singer and main songwriter with The Kinks, which he founded with his brother Dave in 1963. A versatile artist, he has also acted, directed and produced shows for the theater and television.

Davies is described as "openly manic-depressive".
