Ramon Arellano-Felix

Ramon Arellano-Felix (1964-2002) was a Mexican whom authorities linked to the Tijuana drug cartel. Arellano-Felix was placed on the FBIs 10 most wanted list in the 1990s.

Arellano-Felix was allegedly one of the most violent members of the Tijuana cartel, being suspect in various murders. He died while in Mazatlan[?], during what was reported to be a shootout with the police. It is suspected that he was in Mazatlan looking for a drug rival to kill him.

Arellano-Felix had been linked by Mexican police to the 1997 massacre of 12 members of a family in Mazatlan.
