Ramiro II of Aragon

Ramiro II of Aragon 'the Monk' (1075-1154), king of Aragon 1134-1137). Ramiro II was elected bishop of Barbastro[?], and became king of Aragon in 1134 after the death of his brother Alfonso I of Aragon 'the Battler'. He married Agnes of Poitiers[?] and abdicated in favour of his baby daughter Petronila of Aragon[?] in 1137, after marrying her to Ramon Berenguer IV, Count of Barcelona[?].
