Puurs

Puurs is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Breendonk[?], Liezele[?], Puurs proper and Ruisbroek[?]. On January 1st, 2000 Puurs had a total population of 15,736 (7,857 males and 7,879 females). The total area is 33.41 km² which gives a population density of 471.00 inhabitants per km².
