Puttaparthi

The abode of Bhagwan Sathya Sai. Situated in the Anantpur district of Andhra Pradesh, Puttaparthi draws thousands of devotees from all over the world. Puttaparthi houses Prashanthi Nilayam[?], the ashram[?] of Baba. It is well connected by road, rail and air to the outer world. The newly opened railway station is called Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam.

Puttaparthi also has a charitable super speciality hospital.
